Album Notes

Lets Become Actors started out as a recording project of Michael Gross and Matthew Glass in 2005. During that time, Michael was involved in a local indie rock band called The Brobecks and Matthew had started re-pursuing his education. Needless to say, the recording venture was somewhat casual. Within the next couple of years, the two compiled a small library of recordings and demo’s, and eventually made an album out of some of the songs, which they titled “Research Your Friends”. Some people own it, but most people don’t.

In the late summer of 2007, Lets Become Actors decided to become a real life band with feelings and emotions. Dave Chisholm (formerly of The Brobecks) and Benjamin Johnson joined the party and a life size band was formed. Now with duel singers and songwriters (Michael and Dave), Lets Become Actors are ready for things. Lots of things.

The band has just completed their new, self-titled CD in March 2008. They hope to share it with the world. Whatever that means.

Simply AMAZING

Let's Become Actors has an original sound that consists of great musical composition and an energy that has been lacking in most "it" music today. Nine dollars well spent. I look forward to their future records and look to see these guys making it as big as their sound. The world is definitely their oyster.

I had extremely high expectations about this cd. Dave and Michael's previous work in the ol' Brobecks was nothing short of masterful. And this cd is just as killer. Great lyrics, splendid riffs, and heavenly melodies. These guys and the Jonas Brothers are gonna save rock'n'roll!
