The CDs title could just as easily describe the Rising Fawn, GA duo. Like their music, what appears plain and simple at first blush proves to run far deeper upon further inspection. The CD is a collection of songs about life in the South sung in the pair's harmonious rootsy style. The two share writing credits and vocals on most of the tracks. They cover Carly Simon's "Anticipation" and Delbert McClinton's "Two More Bottles of Wine". Plain & Simple is simply their best work yet and a beautiful CD. Read more...
