Album Notes

Using modern recording techniques (as of 1982), Mr. Ross has created from one to six parts for each of the pieces contained herein. Upon hearing this recording, the technical mastery of the guitar is noted and appreciated. However, what lingers the longest for the listener is the sweetness, sensitivity, and gentle good feeling of Mr. Ross's playing. Detailed notes on the origins of each of the Carols are included in the liner notes. The instruments used on this recording are a Martin 1934 000-18, a Mossman 1976 Great Plains, and a Mossman 1976 Flint Hills Custom. Revere Records is proud to offer these fine recordings in the hope that they become part of your Holiday background season after season.

Years ago this was my favorite Christmas album. Alas it became so scratched it was unlistenable. I looked for it in CD form for years, and never found it until a recent Google search led me to the CD baby site. I'm delighted to have this in my collection again. Its still the best!

I bought this cassette tape over twenty years ago. I no longer have a tape deck in my car therefore I wanted a CD. I also purchased one for my brother in-law for Christmas. He plays guitar and enjoys Christmas Carols. It is great, it is a nice relaxing way to enjoy Christmas music.

Like previous reveiws, I grew up listening to this on tape. I looked EVERYWHERE for it on CD and finally found it here! This is some of the most magical Christmas music around, soft and stirring. It is a definite must!

We've had this music on tape for 20 years and now that our cars only have CD capability we needed to get his in CD format. This is lovely music and a great adaptation of some favorite Christmas melodies. We highly recommend this CD as you will be rewarded with wonderful Christmas sounds.
