For as long as she can remember, Lexy has worked hard at being the best that she could be. Whether it’s being a good student, or becoming a well rounded performer, she challenges herself to go the extra mile.

Her classical music training as a child not even 10 years old, as well as acting and dance since an early age gives her work more emotional content than one would expect from an artist who is only fourteen.

“My life is pretty crazy right now, I never thought that so many people and all of this work would be involved in becoming a recording artist” states Lexy. Then again, perhaps the depth and maturity is inevitable from someone who has been honing her skills since the tender age of five.

Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, Lexy proclaims she has a variety of musical tastes. “When I was younger my mom listened to pop music while my brother was into rap and rock. My dad enjoyed jazz, so I got a mixture of musical influences around the house” says Lexy.

Lexy’s natural talent and professional discipline have garnered the attention of
nationally acclaimed songwriters and producers who recognized her talents, leading to the development of her first POP album and music video scheduled for release late summer of 2006.

As she continues her education, she balances performances in local and regional events. Admittedly, the past several years have been spent polishing her talents as a songstress and actor, however her first and foremost love is performing live. “ I love the energy of the audience” says Lexy who has worked with nationally acclaimed producers.

Although Lexy is the first to declare that she surrounds herself with great advisors, she is still very much in control of her career. From choosing a producer to selecting songs, to the style of clothes she wears, this rising star definitely knows what she wants in life and is prepared for the long road ahead.
