Lovely renditions of traditional songs
author: Christine Rea
Sometimes you can have enough of traditional songs. But every now and then someone comes along whose interpretations give the songs a different feel. That is what this CD manages. Leza has a great vocal style and treats each of the songs with the respect that something written years ago deserves. Sit down on a Sunday morning with a cup of coffee, reading the papers, and this is the perfect companion. Greensleeves, The Drunken Sailor, Black Velvet Band: These and others are treated with loving care, like old friends. The Moor Of Dundee will be enjoyed by people who have known the songs for a long time but it's also an opportunity for those less familiar to get to know some of the greatest ballads ever written!

It's Great That Leza Is Keeping Traditional Folk Music Alive!
author: WRR Classical 101.1 FM Review
We really enjoyed this CD. It's pure unadulterated Folk Music. Classic and Traditional Ballads. My favorites include the very first track, "Molly Malone", an original piece called "The Rogue Of Dundee" and I enjoyed the effects on "Drunken Sailor". Looking forward to Leza's next CD.

Leza Mesiah is an awesome and rare find!!!
author: Betsy Dyer
This albumn is fresh like pine air! Rare and exciting like all the newness of a first love. Leza Mesiah captures these classics with the pioneering spirit of a sea faring wench serving up gourmet groul to my starving ears. Aye Lads and Lassies this wench be drops of rain in a vast desert of musical despair. Mesiah moves, shakes and makes quivers and quakes! "Ann Bolin" makes me want to courtsey my way across the room of kings and queens of the majestry. Leza is true royalty and a real crown jewel. A vocalizing vixen for merry waifs and wenches.
