Powerhouse singer-songwriter, Lynn Frances Anderson, and her 7-piece band kick-off the release of Anderson’s third original CD, Born Lucky. Special guests, Joe Craven (David Grisman, Jerry Garcia) and slidemaster, Kirby Kelley, join Anderson’s band for this rare and amazing evening.

Born Lucky is Anderson's third CD release. Born Lucky features the inimitable Joe Craven on mandolin (listen to "One & Only Love") and violin (screamin' solo on "Time to Learn to Heal"), AND slide master Kirby Kelley (with some lead work on "I'm Not Sorry"). The foundation of this recording is laid down by Anderson's outstanding band:
Lead Guitarist: Clark Salisbury
Backing Vocals and Keyboard: Holly Leer
Bass: Leah Hinchcliff
Drums: Rob Schnell
Acoustic guitars and Vocals: LFA
All songs are Anderson's original compositions.

Anderson's commitment to positive and inspiring songwriting weaves through each piece. From the encouraging ballad, "Hold On" to the ripping ska-infused rocker, "Painful", the songs are artfully arranged.

"Time to Learn to Heal", "Road to New Orleans" and "I'm Not Sorry" have been selected as the first singles from this CD.

I was lucky enough to have my friend Eric invite me to Lynn's latest concert at The Aladdin, in honor of releasing her latest Born Lucky CD. I thoroughly enjoyed her voice, her words, and her music. If you're the least bit interested, definitely check out her CD, and definitely catch her next live show!!!

  • A Must Have Addition To Your CD Collection

I am a long time fan of Lynn's music. Without a doubt Born Lucky is her best CD yet. If you already have Lynn's music or have seen her perform, you definitely will want to add this to your LFA collection. If you have never heard Lynn before, you should take a listen. Lynn and her band are in their groove.

As expected Lynn’s new C.D. falls within the lines of “rich and sublime.” Born Lucky opens powerfully with “The River” and delivers a number of songs throughout that immediately become favorites: “Let Me Go,” “Painful,” and “I’m Not Sorry” are mine! I found “Easy Money” whimsical and fun and the song evoked memories of my own Dad on the c.b. while driving on the L.A. freeway in the early 70’s. Born Lucky is a fine addition to my LFA collection—one thing’s for certain I’d love to see the artist live in concert.
