Album Notes

The Gitans de Sarajevo [The Gypsies of Sarajevo] play music from the Balkans and Eastern Europe, pushing traditional Gypsie airs into a modern context.

Goran Jezdimir and Boris Bartula originaly met at Sarajevo`s Academy of Music. Due to their love of music, seven musicians (all of former Yugoslav origin) have decided to overlook their backgrounds, be it Serbian, Croatian or Muslim, and have united together to play Gypsy music.
