Album Notes

The time has come!

Liam Live, the original front man of the well known ‘Black Ice’ spent 4 years performing all around South Africa with a very memorable performance in front of the Great Nelson Mandela.

Liam went on to form another 3 bands before he moved to Cape Town to pursue a solo career which lead to his signing to Universal and claiming his first spot on the popular TV series \'Back Stage’. He released his first single as well as a cover of Bette Midlers \'Wind beneath my wings\' which went to number one on three radio stations.

In 2004 he was invited to perform a tribute show in Mallorca, Spain. His performance contributed to the show being named as the number one tribute show in Spain for 2004. This led to meeting his manager and mentor, Tony Battle.

2005 has seen Liam performing over 200 shows at top hotels and venues. The year was mind blowing. 2006 saw a massive response to the release of his debut album ‘Here I am’ with sales rocketing. The new single ‘Burnt Candles’ followed not long after with great success.

The following year, 2007 gave way to the South African tour running through Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg, with more than 90 shows, and with a handful of radio interview the R.S.A. was conquered and they look forward to his return.

2007 also had the biggest show turn over of his career so far with a total 302 shows across the globe. After many months of hard work, the follow up album ‘The perfect Side of Me’ is out and creating a big stir.

The new single ‘amazing’ has ignited 2008 and started the year in perfect form.

And through trials and tribulations the epic new album ‘ice’ has arrived. Hundreds gather, press and fans alike to witness the launch of what can only be described as future classic, a base for an incredible career, the tide

Is turning, the time has come.

I've seen Liam perform in Mallorca for the first time and really liked his songs and his performance as well. The album covers a whole range of different genres and each song speaks for itself and for Liam's reputation as a fine artist. I highly recommend a purchase!!!

From ballads to pop to thumping dance tunes this is Liam's best album by far. From the heart and from the soul each song shows his vocal skills to perfection. Happiness, love, confusion, each song tells it's own story. We need more music like this! Purchased in June and as yet has not been out of my cd player. Miss this, miss out!
