Every time my husband and I play this CD and friends are over, we'll be talking away when they stop short and say, "Who is this?! She's amazing!". I bought the CD for my Dad as a birthday present and he told me he put it in while he was tinkering around the house and all of a sudden realized he had a big grin on his face! The first words out of his mouth when I called to wish him a happy birthday were, "Where do you find these artists?!"
We really enjoy this album and it is one of our favorites to play, especially when friends are over.

Clever, sassy, sophisticated, and cool

These are wonderful tunes, with some nice original material and other nuggets by others. The flute is the predominant instrument, but it does not overwhelm. Libbie is a wonderful singer and the musicianship and sophistication of the production is first class. It's got elements of pop, jazz and easy listening but I never got bored or felt it was cliched. Truly an original work.
