Lilith Fair Talent Search Finalist!

Finalist in 1999 Lilith Fair Talent Search in 3 of 4 cities entered: Austin, TX; Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR Lise was the featured artist at www.HotBands.com (Seattle,WA) for the last week of December, 1999

Lise has been a prolific writer of original lyrics and melodies for the past 6 years. She has had extensive vocal training and began performing live in Houston's premier venues in 1994.

These venues include Rockefeller's, The Mucky Duck, Ovations, The Ale House, Side Car Pub, The Travis Cafe, Zelda's at Fitzgerald's, The River Cafe, and the Boat Yard.

Her musical influences cover a large range: Elton John, Nanci Griffith, K.D. Lang, Joni Mitchell, Bette Midler, Leonard Cohen, Paul Simon, Janis Joplin, Lyle Lovett, Sarah MacLachlan, Jimmy Lafave, Linda Rondstant, Laura Love, Willie Nelson, and many more.

While her interests may vary in style, they have two things in common: an emphasis on beautiful melody and meaningful lyrics.

Her eclectic interest in music has helped Lise to create a unique sound of her own that can best be described as a mixture of rock, pop, and folk.

Lise released her first CD, "White Heart" in September of 1999 to a sold out crowd at Rockefeller's in Houston, Texas.
