Trance music extraordinaire! Close your eyes and let it take you deep into meditation. Good for yoga and trance dance, too. Created through improvisation, spirit channels through this music.
"Journeys" is an elemental awakening of fire and water, splitting the surface to magical perceptions, ever present, ever here.
Makes you want to sigh, to float on by in a cloud of sunshine, storm, to be inspired: speak language from the depths of ancestors.
Drifting on a tranquil river, riding on a lightning flash, dancing with the animal guides, traveling into mist…and home.

This album feels like it was ripped from someone's innards. This is good in the sense that it is authentically human and raw, with sophisticated musicianship. It is only bad if you don't want to face what it is ripped open in yourself.
Journeys in the Dreamtime
author: Linda BelanI literally feel energy move when I listen to this CD. If you're at all sensitive to the energies around you, this CD has the mojo. It is a favorite for meditation. Highly recommend it.
A profound and magickal journey
author: Rick Sanford"Journeys in the Dreamtime" takes you on a profound and magickal journey, if you let it. Being an amateur musician and improviser myself, I was struck by how rich, organic and deep the music-making on this album is. This is clearly not some hastily thrown together recording of several recording sessions, but a finely tuned work of art. One of the first things I noticed is the depth of emotion that the music called forth. Most music nowadays - even a lot of "new age" music - sounds heavily contrived to me - lacking the natural organicism that allows one to connect with the sacred and mysterious within. "Journeys in the Dreamtime" delivers totally this quality. In fact, upon listening to this, I got the impulse to dance interpretively to this music (which is very rarely inspired by ANY music). The profundity of this music simply calls out to channeled and expressed - whether in your landscapes of your imagination, your body, etc. Thank you Life Force Ensemble for sharing this with the world!
