Rob Iutzwig grew up in Houston, Texas and picked up his first guitar at the age of 13. He cut his teeth on blues rock players such as Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimmy Page. He began writing songs as a teenager and continues to hone his craft to this day, drawing upon inspiration from a variety of influences all over the musical spectrum.
Tim Marshall has been interested in the craft of songwriting since he was a child growing up in the land down under. His influences range from the Eagles to the Wallflowers, Peter Himmelman, Paul Weller and Crowed House.
These two lifelong friends teamed up in the early 1990's and began writing and recording music. This songwriting duo continues to work together today under the name Life is Hard, writing, producing and publishing their original music.
