Album Notes

Life of Pi combines the high-energy song delivery of punk and hard rock with melody-centered pop sensibilities; tight, very original, and yet at the same time, instantly catchy songs. Hook-centered tunes with angles. Based in Tampa, Florida, formed in 2003, the foursome independently released their debut LP, Sunrise with Seamonsters, in July 2003 as well as a 3 song EP in May 2004. "Pyrrhic Victory" is their newest offering.

****"Life of Pi deliver an album full of sing-along goodness that gets even better with time. Highly recommended-Punk Planet Magazine Issue .59"

***...13 raw but sweet, familiar but fresh, ironic but sincere tracks comprise one hell of an accomplished and addictive debut."-Weekly Planet Magazine.

***Volume 16, .26"...Quirky lyrics and buoyant arrangements...an infectious brand of alternative pop/rock. All in all, a wonderful breath of alternative nostalgia."- Ryan Hoffer-Shut Eye Records
