Jeremiah and the Thieves are a band from Baltimore, Maryland. They have been peddling a unique blend of alt-country/folk-rock music around the country for the past few years. "Starvation Box" is a finely crafted collection of musical stories and thoughtful protests, a beautiful hike up a strange mountain, naked hollerin' music. The opening track, "Holy By Their Guns", received an Honorable Mention in the the 2003 international John Lennon Songwriting Contest. This album was produced by aminibigcircus, a gathering of artists based in Baltimore, working in film, music and live performance.
