Stuart Mclean on vocals, guitars and weird noises.
Maik Antrack on bass, guitars, vocals and odd noises.
The first time Stuart and Maik played live together the keyboard player ran off the stage in mid-song.
The second time they played live together the bartender came on stage and turned their amps down.
The third time they played live together they were preempted by a puppeteer.
With a start like this, the two have decided, the only way is up.
So they formed this band, called Lightheaded -- the Berlin-based cross-cultural collaboration of a German and a Canadian with the common interest in writing songs that pay tribute to classic rock n' roll music, but with a post-modern twist.
In making their EP 'Into,' they had assistance from:
Hans Schlotter on drums.
Samiha Bayoumi on backing vocals.
Paul Wilkinson on rattles and shakes.
J.J. Johnson on stomps, claps & additional body percussion.
All the other playing & programming is the fault of Stuart and Maik.
The EP was produced and mixed by the one and only Paul Pilot.
Drum and guitar sessions were engineered by Philipp Ricken.
The EP was recorded and mixed at Stuart and Philipp's studio, which they call SMS studios in Friedrichshain, Berlin during July, August and September 2011 and was mastered by Ingo Krauss.
The cover photo was taken by Juliea Joules and the background photos & cover design were done by Stuart & Maik. The original letters on the gate wer designed by Ciro Chavez.
All songs are copyright lightheaded music 2011.
