Evocative Imagery and Sound
author: Tom Cope
This music is soul filling. The songs are introspective, and the evocative playing with a unique set of instruments creates a rich atmosphere. “Together, We Make a Compass” has become the song I binge on the most. It feels like a very personal musical landscape that I can inhabit with my individual response to the open lyrics. The instruments create a bittersweet garden of sound I like to visit with my eyes closed in reflection. Compass has a warmth that distinguishes it from the other tracks that use more synthetic sounds. The use of muffled hands is a beautiful touch that creates that feeling of communal celebration of human heartache.

Amazing Debut
author: Fan of the BT
This is an amazing debut release by an incredibly original band. Their unique sound does not fit a specifically defined genre of music. It is different than anything that has come out in years. The songs resonate the passion the band has put into their sound. The music is hauntingly beautiful and often times very joyous. The EP stands up to repeated listenings and you will find yourself humming the songs in your head. The production quality is also great for an unsigned band. I hope people discover this new band and pass the word along to their friends. This is just the beginning for a group with such a unique voice. The song writing is beautiful both musically and lyrically. The unique blend of voices, piano, guitar, harmonica, mandolin etc. is something to be truly appreciated. While thoroughly enjoying their current EP, I look forward to many great things to come in the future. Amazing Debut!
