I've been a fan of Jesse Astin's band/project/music/creation, "Like Clockwork", ever since I discovered it a year ago, and this new album did not dissapoint. Having already heard a few of the tracks on myspace, I was psyched about hearing the whole thing.
His new album defintely shows that, if there was any kinks in his music, he's worked them out. His previous albums have already shown his talent and potential, but his new album, "All Signs Point To Yes," shows more technical skill, sound quality, and musical maturity than ever.
My personal favorite is by far "Looking Better Everyday," which will have you humming for days with its catchy hooks and melodies. If "All The Money In The World" doesnt have your blood pumping by the end, theres something wrong with you, man, and the revamped title track is killer, blowing its previous Version outta the water. The beginning mini track, "Wake Up", is very cool in that it sets the mood for the whole thing, and by the end of the album, when it is somewhat repeated in the end of "Everytime," you feel as if its all been strung together, and that you've just experienced an entire story.
Honestly, I think I preferred the previous version of "No Sleeping Alone" to the album's new version, but overall, thats an extremely miniscule price to pay for such an amazing work of art as the new LC album is. Defintely an album you'll want to buy.
