What then is grace, but the uninvented,
that does not come like flowers,

but like breath from the heart, the mouth, the memory
of God when all that was given is yours.

What then becomes passionate and clear?

that heaven is
will and dreams, gazebos and
coffees —
some vision of singing the mundane,

some furniture
for clouds,

some seduction of
what is beautiful.
