Larry "Lil' Larry" Gordon
Larry Gordon, publicly known as Lil' Larry, made his debut performance at the age of four (4) in the Principality of Monaco. It was on a beautiful summer night when a petite voice in the world sang his rendition of "Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong and "I Feel Good" by James Brown before a captivated audience that included His Serene Highness Prince Rainier and Prince Albert of Monaco and a host of other affluent people from around the world. In fact, Lil' Larry was so entertaining that he was asked to sing at the world famous Jimmy'z, landing him a front cover spot in the newspaper (under a caption of Prince Albert, Eric Clapton and Ringo Starr) for all to wonder "who is this kid"?
Since then, Lil' Larry has appeared in Showboats International, Selecta, and "D" magazines; was interviewed and featured on Good Morning Texas, Vive l'ete Show - Television Monte Carlo, Good Day Dallas, Insights, and Positively Texas; and acknowledged in feature sections of the Nice-Matin and Dallas Morning News newspapers. By the age of six (6), Lil’ Larry released his first single on LaMé Records, Man of Tomorrow, and signed with Solitaire Records to do a compilation CD.
Other career highlights include an appearance on It's Showtime At The Apollo – Apollo Kids first show for the Millennium as its first Apollo Kid contestant, guest artist for the Apollo Kids Talent Search in Dallas, TX (sponsored by the McDonald’s Corporation), performance at the Grammy’s After Party with The Bar-Kays, and performances with a host of artists and celebrities while performing with his father’s band.
Lil' Larry is an honor student at Temple Christian School where he serves as Co-Captain of the Temple Christian Blazers Varsity Basketball Team, Class Officer, member of the Temple Times Journalism Club, and volunteers for various community service projects.
His newly released CD, "LyBEATrics", exemplifies his talent as a singer, songwriter, musician, and producer. But his live performance really shows you his artistry as he dances, plays drums and keyboard with a band, Hip/Hop dancers and a Rap artist. What a talent! Lil' Larry has been promoting the "LyBEATrics" CD Break-out tour with the support of KNON (89.3 FM), KKDA (73 AM), Sam Goody outlets and guest appearances on various shows.
