Album Notes

Lil' Rick, who is fast gaining the reputation as the "best all-around unsigned hip-hop artist in the game, has already turned down record deals that were not serious enough. He earned this reputation with an unusual ability to create songs. He is a a "song maker". He creates complete songs that are entertaining. "Lil' Rick" aka "Ricky Ruckus" was born in Washington, DC September 18, 1983. He moved to Winston-Salem, North Carolina in 1996. He earned the name "Lil' Rick" from his father Big Rick and "Ricky Ruckus" from his furious rapping method. His masterful mic skills and "in your face" attitude come from the many battles this young rapper was challenged with.

He started rapping when he was a young boy listening to the radio. As a youngster he used to rap with his cousins. He has continued to mold his style as he has grown.

Lil' Rick became serious about rapping while attending junior high school. At the same time DJs took notice and started giving him radio coverage. With that, came challenges from other rappers which only helped hone his skills even more.

With radio coverage, his name skyrocketed and he became well-known in North Carolina and some parts of Virginia. In high school, he became part of a group called the ILL Spittaz. The group consists of Glue, Billionz, and Ricky Ruckus.

Right now Lil' Rick is concentrating on getting out new material via video and mixtapes all while pursuing his college degree from Winston Salem State in North Carolina.

Lil' Rick has just recorded 2 songs for the soundtrack of the new 50 Cent Dvd called "Refuse To Die". The songs are "Collision" and "NOW".

Ricky Ruckus -- "the best all-around unsigned hip-hop artist in the game"!
