Ancient Sanskrit mantras rise and fall on waves of devotion in this blissful lullaby to the Divine. Lily Diamond's soulful, mesmerizing voice transmits love and tenderness in a unique and powerful way as it awakens us to our authentic essence. This magical blend of voice, harmonium and the tabla rhythms of Girish, flows like a river of grace, transporting the soul back to its sacred home.

Lily has had special relationship with sacred energies and ritual from early childhood. Through both clairvoyance and clairaudience she has served as a divine instrument for lessons and healings. She experiences the dimensions of sound and sacrament on a deeply intuitive level.

Lily is truly endowed with the remarkable gift of transmitting the energetic vibrations of the divine sound current through her powerfully resonant voice. Her chanting creates an open channel, moving shakti, or energy, into the physical realm where it becomes a catalyst for healing and transformation.

While on the shamanic path, exploring many traditional medicine ways, Lily worked with people challenged by terminal illness. During these years, she had a series of profound mystical experiences with the Divine Mother. Compelled to study Sanskrit texts and ceremonies, she was guided to create music and then step forward to share the sacred sound.

MAHA, Mother's Ancient Harmonic Arts, is Lily's production company and band. Lily offers kirtan (devotional music gatherings), workshops and healing sessions.

    Very beautiful. Lovely for Yin and meditation classes. I usually don't use music with words for my Level and 2 classes because it seems distracting to have to speak over it. But when I do it is music like this---soft, mellow, no big jumps in tempo/tone, and soothing Sanskrit. Very nice!

    Meditation music needs to walk a fine line between being ethnically overexotic on the one hand or syrupy and over-synthesized on the other. Not many artists manage it well, but Lily Diamond's CD is both true to the strengths of its Sanskrit Indian progenitors and yet somehow fresh and wholly original. Definitely marks the arrival of an important talent. Recommended for all Goddess junkies.
