Meet The LimeyBirds -

Sweet Sirens with wicked wit & seamless a capella vocal music!

This award winning act has performed for dignitaries & common-folk alike across Canada and the United States. Based out of Toronto, Canada, The Limeybirds have been touring since 1999 and are known as one of the hottest "Don't Miss" acts on the Renaissance Festival Circuit.

The Limeybirds are different from all the other acts out there - we combine improvisation, music and comedy to bring a unique show (and it's a SHOW that's for sure!) to the Renaissance Festival circuit. The songs we use are favourites but with our special "twist of lime" you can be sure you've never heard them quite like this before!

"All We Want For Christmas " features songs that are traditionals with the lyrics rewritten by us. Except for "Carol of the Bells" - it's too pretty to mess with!! The Story "Limeybirds Night Before Christmas" was loosely based on the classic story. Loosely....!!

The Limeybirds' Night Before Christmas was a last-minute addition to this CD. It was written literally 5 minutes before we started!

When recording "Limeybirds Night Before Christmas" we had to do it over three times from the top because we were laughing so hard while improving around the loosely written script. We had to read it directly off Bunnie's laptop computer (as we sat crosslegged on the floor around it) as we didn't have time to print it off. The "Tiny Tim" bits at the end made us laugh so hard we cried!
