Album Notes
Blues music is an expression of the human condition. So for Linda there was never any other genre to write or perform. " It's all about touching someones heart, if only for a minute or two, they are going to know they are not alone when it comes to having the blues." " Blues music is one form of expression that keeps us connected to each other in this journey we call life." Living in Houston, TX for a time, gave Linda the opportunity to learn from the best out there. She took in every blues show she could see and sat there as their understudy, concert after concert. Artists like Albert King, Etta James, Koko Taylor, Albert Collins, and of course BB King. Feeling blessed to have seen and experienced these great men and women of the blues before their passing, Linda incorporates their style along with her own in an effort to keep this music alive and well. "Every generation should be blessed to hear this music, it's real, it's from the heart and it goes to the heart."
