Album Notes

Linda Severt
Music ~ Circus Arts

“Linda is the Beatles of Children's music. What she can do in a studio is mind blowing. Yowza!”
-Chameleon Performance-

Recipient of Creative Child Magazine’s “Seal of Excellence” and a "Parents Choice Silver Honor."

Linda Severt is a multi-instrumentalist and song writer whose whimsical style on stage and in her songs is absolutely delightful. Her versatility is showcased on this CD through a wide range of musical styles, from folk to jazz to calypso to rock, with a little yodeling and opera thrown in! Refreshingly original, Grinning Streak includes some songs that are just plain goofy, a rap song about brushing your teeth, a beautiful lullaby, and songs about spaghetti, connection, toes, snorkeling, super-powers, and skin, all in one package.

Performance Highlights include:
The Kennedy Center (Washington DC)
Kim Tom International Clown Festival (Shanghai, China)
International Children’s Festivals (Vancouver, Toronto, Calgary, Philadelphia, Seattle…)
Festivals – Bumbershoot, Juan de Fuca, Salem Arts, First Night (Tacoma, Providence)
