Album Notes

I am Lindsey White.
I live and work and play in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
I have a blue guitar, a blue ipod, a blue phone, green eyes, a white piano and an orange car, which I park in stall #27 at the apartment where I live.
I like to sing loudly, breathe deeply and usually begin and end every task with a good stretch.
I have been making music for as long as I can remember, but after my Dad died last summer, I just didn’t want to do it anymore. So I took a much needed break and started healing. (A process that I’m learning takes a lot more time, effort and energy than I ever imagined!)

I had been going through a very difficult period of personal growth for a long time. (Years really.) I changed a lot as a result; but it was nothing compared to the crazy transformative process that took over when I lost my Dad. I suddenly found myself wandering… cut loose from so many strings that used to pull me in so many directions; letting go of the person that I used to be. And this new, truer and stronger version of me that had been trying to push through for the last few years began to finally emerge.

So, if I’m a different person, then who am I now? That is something that I’m still trying to figure out, with as much honesty as I can possibly muster. In the meantime, I keep changing, healing, searching and learning how to live out the life I’ve always wanted. (Like that part in "Stranger than Fiction" where Will Ferrell’s character is told to eat nothing but pancakes... maybe you’ve seen it? I highly recommend.)

Anyway, I've also begun writing music again! And my band and I have started recording a new full-length album called "Renegade"; having a great time performing these meaningful songs whenever the opportunity arises. The first finished single is called "Equinox" - a fitting song that I wrote years ago about change. I do hope you enjoy what is, as well as what is to come.
