The governor of Massachusetts signed the most comprehensive anti-bullying bill in the nation into law in May 2010. Although too late to prevent the recent suicides of Carl Walker-Hoover and Pheobe Prince, the new law puts measures into place within Massachusetts school systems to help prevent further tragedies of this nature, and it provides the opportunity for all students to learn and grow in a safe environment.
