Charlie Prawdzik, pianist, creates some wonderful settings through his arrangements of this collection of standards for singer, Diane Linscott. Swinging up-tempos and sensitive ballads are the musical fare here and the quality ingredients are some of the finest musicians in the Sarasota, Florida area: Charlie Prawdzik on the Baldwin Concert Grand; Billy Pillucere, bass; John Moore, drums; Perry Childs, tenor and flute; and LaRue Nickelson, guitar.
Added to the mix of standards from The Great American Songbook are two tunes by player, writer, arranger and composer, Duncan Lamont, whose work has been performed by some of the best singers including Cleo Laine, Blossom Dearie and Natalie Cole. Ms. Linscott adds her interpretation of the exquisite ballad, Where Were You In April, and the bluesy There Ain't Nothin' Like The Blues.

You Must Believe In Spring is Diane Linscott's sixth CD. She performs at various venues in the Sarasota area during the winter season and New England during the summer months. She has been featured artist at many jazz clubs including The Jazz Corner in Hilton Head, NC and The Press Room, Portsmouth , NH.
