LIONESSE* aka (Ericka Kane) is here to perform. At 4 years of age singing in her family..s church choir in Detroit, Music was the family business. Her godmother Martha Reeves (..Dancin.. in the street..) of Motown fame knew A star was in the making. Lionesse..s first recording in a studio came at 8 years of age. She began writing and arranging songs with anyone who would listen. She enrolled in dance classes for ballet, tap, jazz, and gymnastics to hone her skills. She attended from the Detroit High School of the Fine Arts/Performing with other talented teens like Aaliyah and Tierra Marie. She began dancing for a group signed to Biv 10 Records under the leadership of Michael Bivins of New Edition. As a songwriter, Lionesse* has songs recorded by noted recording artists such as Latocha Scott of Xscape (Solo Flight 404). Lionesse* has 1.experience 2.confidence and 3.dedication to the craft that translate to a dynamic force. An enchanted mix of old school R&B vocals mixed with Hip Hop percussions and can..t sit still beats combined with soulful writing and truly inspired dancing skills. Lionesse* is a definite triple threat. Lionesse* is currently the owner/operator of the Hip Hop Nation, LLC Dance School, where she is a professional choreographer/instructor for many aspiring neighborhood youths & local talent.
