ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Lion is a brand new Uk based artist who delivers reggae laced dubby music with a soulful feel.

He was born in Angola in 1972; he started to play music when he was 10 years old in his village home. Among the instruments he used to play was Bbongo, Diebe, Traditional bass etc. Every night when he came back home from the farm or school he used to play and practice his music. As there were no television music was the only entertainment there's, and the least football was the only game to play.

At the age 0f 13 Lion started playing music for the local church for the first time, then at this time he was asked to start singing in the group which later became the best group in the city.

Nevertheless his dreams weren't music but football.

In 1990 he came to live in UK, straight away he went to college to learn English and in 1994 he started a course in Music Technology, Composing Music and song writing. In 1996 he got his first computer and he started composing music from home.

I 1997 he started offering Dj services at weddings and later he started singing at events until he was recognized to get to sing at show at big venues.

His first big show was at ocean in Hackney, Rex at the Ugandan Independence show, 2004 played as supporting artist for Alpha blondy at Brixton academy.

Later this year he will be playing at the Royal festival hall launching his album "injustice"
