Album Notes

This was my first CD and has been my second best seller. I used this CD to help buy a sound system for The Sycamore Tree Coffee House, a non-profit out reach to troubled teens. It is a fan favorite because it is strictly acoustic, two acoustic guitars and two voices singing in harmony. It’s especially special to me because my good friend Mike Rogers sings harmonies and is one of the best guitar players I ever played with. You’ll agree with me after you hear him play. He comes up with riffs I can only imagine playing. He also has two songs on the CD, which are very powerful, 65 and 2-13-95. The CD reminds me of a time that was a bit more innocent. I didn’t have a clue what I was doing songwriting wise so the songs are simple and to the point which turned out to be one of the attractions of the CD. My favorite song on the CD is Broken Children, which was written with the kids from the coffee house in mind. I hope you will enjoy the simplicity of this CD that has proven to be its strength.
