The era of power-pop has just been jolted by the arrival of the dynamic musicians who form Liquid Carousel.
From the suburbs of New York City, their debut release 'A Beautiful Mess' is a mixture of old fashion Rock & Roll, and early 90's power rock, accompanied by distinct time changes and rich vocal harmonies.
They have created a significant buzz from their live performances and have successfully captured the energy and emotion on this extraordinary piece of work.

A Beautiful Mess (and music, and lyrics, and harmonies...)
author: Pally Appleton
You'll never hit the skip button on this CD - every track from the first to the last is pure electricity. This music speaks to your soul and hits you where you live. You'll be singing along after the second listen - I hate to call the lyrics "catchy" but there's something about them that stays with you play after play after play. The professional sound of this CD makes you wonder why these guys aren't famous... yet. The guitar work is genius, the bass and drums ride your mind the whole way through and the vocals are respectable. I laughed... I cried... it was better than CATS!

Very exciting CD, from begining to end.

The high light for me was the song Bitterness Was Sweet. The mix of fast guitar with soothing guitar riffs is a major high point on this CD, The vocals are just as good to hear. All around this is a very good CD from begining to end, you will not be go away mad after hearing this.

The thing that worries me the most is when this band goes comatose. I hope it never happens. This CD is one of the best rock cd's from this area, let alone from your area. Trust me on this one...sample it, i did and here am writing you. Just listen to "Byron Place" and you'll see. Not all indie-music is worth the mention, listen, think about it, and tell a friend about Liquid Carousel, because they are, and this cd is foolproof.
