This acoustic based ep was a gift to our fans. During the spring of 1999 Liquid Carousel embarked on an acoustic tour playing various coffee houses and bookstores all over the northeastern United States. We put forth a tremendous effort on re-arranging, our electric rock songs, to fit an acoustic setting, and the end result turned out to be more than we could have ever hoped. People loved hearing the acoustic arrangements and wanted to know where they could obtain a recorded versions of these songs.
Unfortunately at that point there was no acoustic album. So we decided to capture the essence of our acoustic performances on "the full Cincinnati" ep. There are four classic Liquid Carousel songs and two new songs, all arranged with new instrumentation. You will hear everything from shakers to mandolins, from harmonies to harmonicas and after you listen to "the full Cincinnati", you'll understand why good songwriting is the key to a great band.
