Liquid Casing calls Houston, TX its home. They formed a few years back and have since gone on to create a entirely unique sound by forging their eclectic influences and love of rock music. Their influences span the spectrum from Fela Kuti to Fugazi. In their music, a space has been created, a niche in the world of music where elements of jazz and punk can coexist and breathe fire and soul. Liquid Casing's live show is an energetic release of creativity made from their sweat and intense focus, and it must be seen to believe.
"The Campaign" is the fourth album from this trio. This concept album looks at war and the hope for peace through radically different eyes. The music is at times lush and cinematic but can veer towards the cliff with rapid staccato beats and burning riffs. The saxophones propel the melodies while brandishing choatic lines and the churning guitars push the frontiers for punk rock. Is there an answer to this manmade concept of war? Perhaps, but the music is spirit that drives us to ask these questions.

With their latest album, Liquid Casing continues to stimulate the mind with their style of rock and thought provoking lyrics. They have expanded to include a new member which has morphed their performances into jazz influenced punk. As you listen to the album, you can feel the intensity and passion with which this band consistently performs. The album's themes about war and the human cost are expanded over multiple songs, most notably Campaign I and II.
