The Story:
Liquid Pie was initiated by Lindsey Christopher (guitar/vocals). She brought an enormous original catalog of songs from Los Angeles to the hotbed of musical talent, Atlanta, GA. On a fateful evening in 2000, she met Arwen Smith (keyboard, vocals) and Jan Marie Popovich (vocals), who were performing as a duo at the time. The three bonded instantly! Liquid Pie released an EP entitled "Just the Crust" in the fall of 2001. Successful performances, rave reviews from fans, recognition from local and national press and radio airplay soon followed. In 2002, the Liquid Pie felt the need to solidify their line up with the rhythm section and added Kris Akin (drums/percussion). They continued their busy performance schedule and released their sophomore LP, "Diggin In," in late 2003.
Features:
Several publications (including national magazines) have featured Liquid Pie. Radio exposure in different parts of Australia has helped the band's audience to grow. Liquid Pie's radio airplay includes many stations nationally and internationally. EVERY song from BOTH Liquid Pie CDs has been played on FM airwaves!

Great songs, catchy melodies, good beats, - you'll love it!
author: Jack Jacobs
This is a great album! A good follow-up to their first one,
"Just the Crust." Their distinctive style and voice harmony comes shining through. This album will send you away singing and dancing. The three way harmony and excellent playing will be well worth your while.

A CD that you are grateful to the Muses was made =)
author: Jodie Talley
The songs really stay with you in a tremendously positive way, whether bouncy and catchy or profoundly moving. The CD is ecclectic enough to be thoroughly engaging but it's also completely coherent. It has both vocals and lyrics worth tuning into, with a bit of a Joan Armatrading influence perhaps, and just enough bubble gum to make it all stick. Bravo, Pie!

I love my Aunties music
author: Etta Shayu Scott-Smith
My favorite song is I Fell In Love With a Girl. I like knowing my aunts are singing and I can see their faces in the music.
