Lisa Alice chose from the many tracks she's recorded with Bay Area producer Peter Jensen to put together her debut EP Pygmalionic.

Before heading out solo, Lisa sang lead and songwrote for Lisa Hooks Up, a more-absent-than-present college band. In the event of her graduation, Lisa moved west to California and worked her solo chops in San Francisco.

Lisa has lived and played in New York City and San Francisco over the past couple years. In early 2000, LA released her debut EP and plans to release a full length album in 2002.

"Lisa Alice seems unable to stop radiating . . . . Her percussive approach to the guitar and her poetic approach to songwriting make for great music with a curious edge." -Heather Fielding, PostHoc

"No matter if she's performing at a small cafe, an outdoor benefit or a premier club, Lisa wows audiences with her loved-to-scuff guitar and her effortless voice. Prolific and talented, Lisa Alice plays original tunes like a true songstress." -Siane Huhn, Monda Daily

They signal the depths of both her talent and intelligence and her triumph in communicating them in a welcome fashion.
