“I could listen to that voice all day. It has strength, power and pathos at the same time. I like it a lot."

“Lisa has what every artist wants; talent, integrity and an endless supply of courage to tell her story on her terms, a rare and sought after combination.”
Darren Elder Drummer/Songwriter—The Wrecking
A popular singer/songwriter and recording artist in the Northeastern United States, Lisa Gallant Seal has been a favorite performer for many local and regional venues.
In 2006, after a serious spiritual change in direction and scaling down to mostly solo performances, the artist released her first Christian based recording project called Solo @Studio 19. This simple yet lyrically powerful disc presents itself as an ageless classic folk-rock album which was produced by Dan Merrill at Studio 19 in Portland, Maine. Signing with an artist development company out of Oregon in that same year, she continued to hone her musicianship and writing skills. Her audience turned from the larger concert stages to coffee houses, local festivals and prisons.
Continuing to cross over into the CCM arena, Lisa is finding herself back again performing on the larger concert stages working with notable performers including Brian Gentry, Big Daddy Weave, Rita Springer, Margaret Becker, Erin O'Donnell, Kate White and others. Stylistically, she is most often compared with Melissa Etheridge, Jennifer Knapp and Bonnie Raitt.
With a full band and her 2012 record release (Changing Direction 2012) produced by Darren Elder and Karl Anderson of The Wrecking, she is taking on the larger stage platform with an inspiring momentum. From Maine to Connecticut the audience response for Lisa Gallant Seal and her Band is on the rise. With her performance at Soulfest 2012 and a special appearance at Loudon's NHIS, this recording artist continues to impact hearts and pull people in as a result of her raw, passionate and real approach.
