Album Notes

This is the first album by Lisa Haley & the Zydekats.
Originally intended to be a four-song disk, her World-Class band finished those songs in one afternoon.

With three remaining days of studio time booked, the band recorded an entire album of Americana/Cajun/Zydeco music, influenced by Lisa's long-time mentor, Cajun accordion Legend Joe Simien.

This live-recorded album is the start of a lasting legacy of Neo-Zydeco ala Lisa Haley.
