Lisa J Aston, bubbly, dynamic and gorgeous!!! But wait, there is more. The lady can sing like nobody’s business! Lisa is a songwriter, musician, author and creative writer. She brings to the plate a wealth of experience. Personal Manager, producer and has even worked on the administrative side of this music world. She has performed with other bands and solo through out Sydney and Perth. But now … Now … is her time. Angel Heart is Lisa J Aston's first released album, but it certainly won't be her last judging from the response to this one.
 
Angel Heart is attracting attention worldwide. It is 10 tracks packaged with love. Lisa's strong poignant lyrics set the stage for this album. 
She brings to each track, an honesty that takes you deep within the story inside the music. Her strong vocals surprising for such a gentle lady. Angel Heart is a mix of Pop, R&B and Country songs, one crossing over into another, blurring the genre lines. This lady will not be boxed into a genre. It is a well rounded, well mixed and mastered album. Lisa has you dancing on your chair, grooving and swaying through out the whole album. And isn't that exactly what we look for in an album?

The three tracks that hit me were:

1) Best Friend's Lover - This is a tasty little track has a Pop /R&B feel. Definitely one that will have you dancing in no time flat. Lisa nails the vocals! Back-up vocals are fabulous. Guitar is spectacular in this track. Lisa's experience in drawing the listener into the story behind the music is stunning; Just a spectacular job.

2) Restitution - This an excellent "get up on the dance floor" track! It is no wonder it was chosen for the hit US TV Soap Opera sound track Legacy Hill. Lisa J Aston shows her pop side on this song. Her vocals are exceptional. Instrumentation magnificent; A definite hit on the Pop Charts anywhere. 

3) Who Warms Up The Sun - This is a smooth little number. Lisa shows her sensuous, softer side on this track. Acoustic Guitar is fantastic behind her mellow voice. Lisa J Aston moves into a more Pop/Jazz mode easily. The lyrics are brilliant. It is sexy and a sensuous melody. Bravo! One of my favorites on Angel Heart. You will be tapping along with Who Warms Up The Sun.

All in all, Lisa J Aston's “Angel Heart” takes us on a journey through its lyrics and musical styles. This album showcases the experience behind Lisa's talents. She has honed her gifts well. She is Fantastic. Listen to this album today! This will be one for your musical libraries.
