"A first-rate pianist." - Seymour Lipkin ~ "A pianist of extraordinary musicality." - Jacob Lateiner ~ "A pianist of uncommon musicality and sensitivity." - Adele Marcus ~ "A musician of depth and maturity". ~ William Lincer ~ "When I first heard Lisa Sitjar in recital, it was shortly after I'd returned from England where I'd attended a recital by the man who was generally considered to be the leading living interpreter of Beethoven. As it happened, he and Lisa both played Beethoven's Sonata, No. 30 in E Major, Opus 109. To my happy astonishment, I preferred Lisa's - and by a goodly margin. All of her recitals since then have corroborated that early impression that Lisa Sitjar's is a world-class talent." - Thomas J. McCormack
