The inspiration for this recording was to compile many of the songs that Karen and I have performed together over the years at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church in Kirkland, Washington. The water lily on the front cover is a photo I took at a park in Shanghai, China, when my husband and I lived there in 2006-2007. Even in the simple beauty of a water lily, one can see the mighty power of God.

Review:
What strikes me most about this CD is the wonderful example that Lisa sets.... She made a CD that is lovely to listen to, inspiring, and thoughtful, because she wanted to share some of the gorgeous music she's played at her church. We all have music to share if we share from our heart the way Lisa does on this recording.... Lisa plays the flute beautifully, and I love the pieces she chose for this CD, combining some classical with some great hymn arrangements.... The use of the alto and flute d'amore was tasteful and added to the texture and interest throughout the selections.
