Lisa Manning of *Lisa & Friends*: Live musical cabarets with puppets, has come up with a CD jam-packed with fun, in hopes of offering encouraging messages to kids. Lisa Sings! is intended for children 4-10 years old, but anyone can enjoy it!
Thoughts on home, family, and best friends are set to rockin', hoppin' and boppin' tunes! "You Can Do Anything" is about not giving up, and going for what you believe in! "Bugs On Parade" and "Cosmical Night" deal with a love of nature and make-believe."Be Smart, Don't Start" supports self respect by empowering kids to make smart choices. "Do Re Mi" from the Sound of Music is included, with some help from Susie, one of Lisa's 35 life-sized puppets! "Hot Dog", "Sea Cruise" and "Stupid Cupid" are 1950's-style rock songs to get feet tapping and fingers snapping! "Isn't It Amazing" sends home a message of the beauty of diversity, while "Granny" gives respect to all the fabulous grandmoms out there. You're never too old to do great things! This Granny hits a home run and makes a touchdown!
"Bluebird, Bluebird" and "My Pigeon House" are traditional lullabies to calm down kids after all that dancing, and "I Love You Th-i-i-i-is Much" is a heartfelt tribute of a mother's love for her child.
An entertainer and songwriter all her life, Lisa has written ten of the 15 songs, with Emmy winner Brad Hatfield as engineer and arranger.
