Lisa Williams is a wife and working mother of three who has sensed a call to ministry through music. Lisa has been involved in music since she was a child and in the late 90’s, God began to pour original songs into her life. Lisa teamed up with John Hatton (Brian Setzer Orchestra) and Rich Galbraith of Lawrence, Kansas and hired some of L.A.’s finest musicians to create “Do Not Be Shaken,” which was released in 2001. “Do Not Be Shaken” boasts some air time in Toledo, Ohio and in Missouri. Most of all, its claim to fame is its ability to strengthen and encourage others.
Lisa’s current release, “Alive,” has a message for everyone, communicating a sense of hope in spite of life’s struggles. “Alive” is filled with songs that reflect the important things in life, like relationships with children and other people; affirming the worth of all persons and that nothing can separate us from God’s love.
“Alive” has a positive message and is also powerful musically. It has diverse styles of music from Motown, soft rock, gospel, a country tune and Lisa’s forte, ballads. If you are ready for a positive contrast from the screaming, empty music that fills so much of the air ways, “Alive” is for you!
