This is NOW FOR SALE as a DIGITAL-ONLY album.

The original 14-track CD, released in December 2004, was withdrawn from sale in November 2005 due to copyright issues. It was a collection of four promo EPs sent to John Peel during the last two months of his life. He played many of these tunes on his BBC Radio One and World Service shows. "Bit of a discovery" ~ John Peel (2004)

This digital version is a re-release of the original album minus the opening tune, "Animal Hop", which was the subject of the copyright dispute.

Listen With Sarah = woman (Sarah Nelson) + computer (+ spouse) : "We formed in 2002. My background includes pianos, computers, and truth seeking. I live in the forest, in Britain, with my husband. I also bake."

Reviews of AYSC:

“…the sounds of Listen With Sarah seem to me remarkably redolent of the sweetest and most peculiar Englishness; the Englishness of eccentricity and natural strangeness” ~ Plan B

"Thank god the lasses are giving us a real break from this male dominated landscape at last...cos not one tune here passes you without it's warmth or naive playfulness touching you in earnest. Skittering toytown drum 'n' bass, woozy Microsoft sounds washing through your soul, farmyard animal noises set to Trumpton/Lemon Jelly-esque breaks & a children's book style wonderment escaping each tune as it blinks into life through your speakers. Absolutely essential. Support this with all your might. DIY future bliss." ~ Norman Records

"'Intelligent' dance music can often be self-indulgent navel-gazing music produced for and by chin-stroking geeks, but Nelson injects enough fun and leftfield tomfoolery to avoid the techno anoraks and present us with a lively and varied collection of tempo-shifting, mood-altering electronica." ~ SoundsXP

“The surge of excitement I felt when I put this on for the first time, the warmth that dappled my belly and spread like mercury acutely reminds me of the first time I heard the Beta Band, or Lemon Jelly... This is one more notch for John Peel, and a beautiful, if sad, reminder of how Listen with Sarah may be one of the last to be discovered in the slowfade from intelligent pop.” ~ PennyblackMusic
