Carol Williams is a Chicago singer/songwriter whose song "Empty Boots" has received airplay by dozens of folk and independent radio stations. As a vocalist and instrumentalist (keyboards and flute), she weaves a mix of lyric and music to create an blend of acoustic jazz/folk that can only be defined as "rarified, yet earthy" (Chuck Berg, Jazz Times). In her second CD in the "Commentaries" series, she takes creative liberty with eight Beatles favorites and the result is simply magic.
