"Learning the Seasons with Little Goat" is a gentle musical adventure for 2-5 year olds which encourages imaginative play and thoughtfulness.
In this CD, Little Goat, who lives on a farm in Maine, takes children on a narrated musical journey through the four seasons. In every season, each action (chasing butterflies, snow falling, eating pumpkin rinds) is represented by a different musical theme and instrument. At the end of each season, the musical themes are tied together in an ensemble to create each season's "symphony."
Little Goat Productions believes that music is all around us, that it is an integral part of us, from birth to eternity. We hear music in almost everything we do and experience, from the rhythm of street noise, to the sound of the ocean surf, to the meow of a cat.
Hearing music everywhere helps us play, helps us smile, helps us enjoy all of the gifts life offers us. We hope your child will dance, will fly, will act out characters, will laugh, sing and jump. Or maybe just be still for a while :) and listen. And we hope that you might be inspired to do the same!

Learning the Seasons with little Goat

We purchased this CD for our 4 year old niece for Christmas. We raise dairy goats, so like to give her something goat related whenever possible. I went online and copied off a few pictures that went along with the Cd nicely and included them in a photo album along with the CD. I am told, she has requested this Cd every day since Christmas.

Fabulous! Especially appealing for toddlers.

My 2 daughters love Little Goat, and we do, too. Our kids were especially into it when they were toddlers and they keep coming back to it. A lot of music that works for small kids isn't much fun for adults. That's not true here. We enjoy the music and it's always a relief in the car when we get a "Little Goat" request!

Little goat is our 3-year-old sons’ favorite CD. He asks for us to play this more often than Elmo. We listen to this CD often at night before bedtime and while travelling and every time we pass by a farm he asks, “Does little goat live on this farm?” He really enjoys the music and loves the story about the four seasons in Maine, especially Halloween time! Also, our 9-month-old daughter is well aquatinted with this CD and she’s all smiles every time we play it.
