Album Notes

this cd is a complete turn around, a revolution in comparison to today's music.

a not too up, not too down kind of feel. the music industry says: "we love it!" problem is where do we put it? what genre? cant be done.

the sound is best described as rock n' soul.

REVIEWS

I love promise. great voices as usual.

I kinda miss the old style a little, which is why I like Promise, I guess. I like the CD. The great voices are there. I'm more of a voice person, music and lyrics come next in my book. Let's face it if you have great voices, you could sing about fish to the sound of the ocean; and Little Sista has great voices...I know. I'll be there at the next performance...e-me when.

More Than Impressed.
author: Crystal Rose
I became aware of Little Sista through garageband.com when their song, Love Shouldn't, popped up on my review list. There is no way of telling as you listen to the song where/who it came from. This was the review I posted for them. "Professional Jealousy Exposed. This one caught me totally by surprise. The beat and the soft vocals grabbed me right at the start. Just when I was settling into to what I thought was going to be a mellow R&B-type groove, the music and vocals took off HARD and I was pleasantly surprised and riveted to the speakers. Everything was mixed in a perfect complementary blend. The vocalist had power and sensitivity and the backups were well done. The guitar break was perfect -- smooth and sweet. The music fit the words, fit the vocals, fit the mix. Wow. I guess my only complaint is that our band didn't write this one." I will be purchasing this CD and expect many, many hours of listening pleasure from it. This is one talented family!
