Album Notes

Just a short passage north of the noisy city streets of Toronto, a sonic concept was conceived: littleSUNDAY. Developed by frontman Rick Farrell and fellow members, Eric Bonatti, JP and Mario Stamegna, littleSUNDAY emerged onto the music scene delivering a quality blend of Rock music. In 2003, the band independently released their debut CD "Day Of Hollow" and sold over 1000 units in the first few months. Their lively personas and energetic stage shows have left a jet-stream of hungry new music fans. The music is best described as "Infectious New Rock".

littleSUNDAY integrates Alternative Rock and melodic hooks with Classic Rock influences in order to create a five-star production of technical skill and awe-inspiring performance! It's Rock Euphoria!

At times their style of music is hauntingly reminiscent of Classic Rock legends such as Led Zeppelin and The Who, while being stylishly similar to modern Rock influences to that of Collective Soul and Velvet Revolver. littleSUNDAY have an established reputation for being a highly energetic and tight-sounding act. Their live successes are due to two main attributes: a collective decade of experience and impressive individual talent.

"There were a couple of amazing rock acts featured, including littleSUNDAY... 'SUNDAY' were high energy all the way -- with rousing vocals and wild, melodic guitar riffs, that really got the crowd to stand up and take notice." (Joe Curtis - 2005 Toronto Independent Music Award - show review)

"New Rock adrenaline combined with alternative and classic sounds; this Rock powerhouse has what it takes to make a BIG Impact!"

The future is Big for littleSUNDAY! Recent accomplishments include: Guest performers at the First Annual 2005 Toronto Independent Music Awards, 94.9 FM "the ROCK" 2005 Local & Loud Finalists, nomination for "Canada's Best Online Indie Bands", expressed interest from 3-time Grammy Nominated Engineer/Mixer, Brad Gilderman, and in affiliation with a Los Angeles label Red Galaxy Records. Such recent accomplishments provided littleSUNDAY with the confidence and determination to be heard by both the independent and corporate music community. Good Old Rock:)
author: Paul Morrison

I received a cd at one of the band's past shows, and upon listening, found myself really impressed. This is not just another garage band, or dudes playing music in their basement; this stuff is SERIOUS! I mean, it tears up my player and now, I've got it on my I Pod. Keep up the journey to greatness. I noticed your NEW Ep is coming? I can't wait to get a copy...........

CAUTION: GROOVEMIESTERS ahead! You sick bastards! This Track was Bad-assed funky! What a rippin' groove with heavy vocal and guitar work. The Lead guitar work was Nasty!!! I'm totally loving this freaking tune! The performance was heavy-duty, the Chorus was cool, and the production was really good! This song goes on my playlist. Keep up the Good work.

Funky, roots rock with soul and actual creativity? Hell yeah!
author: SonBrian, Allentown, Pennsylvania

Funky, roots rock with soul and actual creativity? Hell yeah! This is probably the best thing I've heard on this site in weeks. ...new sound... you make it your own. Very Blind Mellon meets Pearl Jam. Brilliant. Catchy, inventive riffs with a strong rock undertow. I liked it, and I normally can't even listen to funky rock. I'm 22, and I have a 5-month old daughter. I listened to your song 4 times, and every time she danced to the song and cried when it ended. I know that doesn't normally mean anything. (I'm in a band, and I know that wouldn't mean a damn thing to me.) However, my daughter only likes good music. You sold both of us. Stellar. Extra Credit: Male Vocals, Drums, Bass, Production, Lyrics, Melody, Beat, Mood Special Award: Most Rocking Track
