COVER NOTE:
It IS a little bit funny that so many songs from the golden age of music are, indeed, funny. The keen wit and literary artistry of the lyricists of that era are amazing. I love to do comic songs in my live shows, and people asked to hear more of my "lively" sense of humor in this CD. It was tough to pick just a few songs from all the great choices out there, but it was important to me to choose songs that still had a good jazzy "groove". I hope these songs give you a giggle and are as much fun to listen to as they were to sing.
-A.L.
