Kids’ Songs for Grownups Too is an instrumental collection of childrens’ classics. The arrangements feature Joe Livoti’s diverse and virtuosic guitar playing, as well as mandolin, banjo, recorder, harmonica and upright bass. The Cd was Joe’s response to being unable to find fun music for his young son that was also interesting and enjoyable to adults.
While the arrangements range from jazz to country and folk, the melodies are prominent and easily recognizable to children already familiar with the classics. The Cd is sure to be a hit with parents and children as well, and will provide many hours of listening enjoyment.
