Liz Clee's grandmother, Emma Escalante Rubio,also known as Carmen Navarro, was a famous singer in San Salvador, and performed extensively in Paris, France. Liz actually began her career in the performing arts as a Ballet dancer with the San Francisco Ballet, and went on to perform with Jazz Dance Companies.
